Now then my violence hungry friends! Who would have thought when the pandemic struck and the UFC kept us rolling with fights, that we would arrive at 100th edition of the Apex cards! But here we are. I for one was super grateful when Dana & Co kept us in fights back then. Yes I think it’s run its course, but hell I’ll still be betting the F outta this card this weekend. Here’s some of my favourite bets for UFC Vegas 100.

Yes Gillian Robertson is part of the Fight Bananas family. Yes I’ve loved her since her first time I watched her in the octagon. An 1000% YES she’s a legit F%¥KING SAVAGE!

Luana Pinheiro wants no part of Robertson. She definitely wants no part of Robertson ground game. Luana got submitted in 2 rounds last time out against Angela Hill. So how do you think she’s going to get on in this fight! I genuinely can’t believe the line. It’s my best bet of the night!

Robertson has 9 submission wins in her 14 fights. This is going to make it a perfect 10. Get on this right NOW!

BET 2

People seem to think that this is a lay up welcome to the UFC fight for De Ridder. He may well win. But I don’t expect him to have it all his own way. Gerald Meerschaert has a habit of winning when he’s the underdog, and I’ve made money betting him in this position. Plus he’s fighting a nice 2 fight win streak right now. This is far from an easy debut for Reinier.

But the value here is in the method of victory market. Between these two guys, they have 41 wins by submission. That isn’t a typo. I said FORTY ONE! So yes I’ll take the plus money odds on this fight ending by submission! I might even sprinkle on the 1st round submission market too! This is a great play! Lock it the F in! Thank me later.

BET 3

We head to the Main event of the evening for our final play of the night. A fight im really looking forward to! Neil Magny is like the acid test gatekeeper for UFC prospects at 170lbs. He’s still a live dog in a two man fight, as he showed when beating Mike Malott earlier this year.

Carlos Prates is part of the forever improving Fighting Nerds team and is a much hyped prospect for the UFC right now. I mean what’s not to love, he puts people to sleep and then smokes a 20 pack of cigarettes when he’s done. The man’s box office and a legit killer in my book. He’s expected to deal with Magny, quickly. But I don’t think it will be one and done.

Magny will use his length and footwork to hold Prates at bay in round 1, but come round 2 he’s going to get to him. When he does, Magny will need tucking in. Because he’s going to sleep. So I’m punting on the Round 2 KO line at a great price. I’d suggest you do the same!
