The champ has a name, and it’s Charles Oliveira. That’s right fight fans. For everyone thinking Ilia Topuria has an easy fight this weekend, then get the FU%K outta here! It’s not that Topuria can’t win this Saturday, but some people are already thinking it’s set in stone. Especially the bookmakers. Who now have the Georgian -500 to get the win this Saturday. That’s borderline ridiculous. Especially for a guy moving up to the 155lb division for the first time. I’d get it if he was fighting some unranked bum. But he’s facing a former champion, and a guy who’s finished the likes of Michael Chandler, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje to name a few. Charle Olives is not a fighter to be counted out. Especially not at odds of +330 or anywhere around that. He’s to slick on the ground, and too good on the feet to be shown such a disrespectful line. I’d rather play Charles at that price on this card, than say Joshua Van at -120. Charles Oliveira is the best value bet of the year so far. Win or lose it’s a crazy price and definitely one this degenerate is taking! 🇧🇷

BET 1 – Charles Oliveira to win @ +330

Next up for bet 2 we stay on the main card and a fighter I wash I’d got on when the line opened. But sadly I didn’t cos I’m a chump! At one point Brandon Royval opened as a +200 underdog against Joshua Van. A completely insane price considering he is facing a guy who’s was knocked out cold by Charles Johnson less than a year ago. Don’t get me wrong I’m a big fan of Joshua Van. I expect him to have a stellar career in the UFC, and possibly hold gold one day. But he has never ever faced a fighter as good, or as seasoned as Brandon Royval. Whilst Van has been beating mid level competition, Royval narrowly lost to the Champ Pantoja, and beat Brandon Moreno and highly touted prospect Tatsuro Taira. Anyway the sharp bettors have backed this line in to almost a coin flip odds wise. But you can still get plus money on Royval if you shop around. I did. Thankfully. Van will have a great career, but it won’t start on Saturday.

BET 2 – Brandon Royval to win @ +100

For the final play of the night we’d normally head over to our illustrious leaders choice for the card. David Van Auken got us paid last week with his lock of the year with Fiziev to win @ +100. Bravo Dave 🤩 But Dave is off doing his Island Fights gig, and being an all round legend. So you’re getting an extra bet from me instead!

BET 3 – Renato Moicano to win @ -122.

Thats right people! Take the money man Moicano for some sweat free profits tonight. Dariush hasn’t fought since he was knocked out by Arman Tsarukyan in December 2023. In the very first round may I add. Moicano is not the sort of fight you want coming off a crushing loss, and a 18 month lay off. Moicano has been super active and produced some fantastic wins against fighters arguably better than Beneil Dariush. I think this line should be more like -180. So let’s take advantage of the value here and cash out some chips! LFG! 👊
